Wonder Festival Summer 2011 is happening today and there are tons of exciting new figures being showcased at the event. Here are some of the highlights of the figures that caught my attention for the first waves of updates from the Japanese blog.

The most awesome figure has gotta be this scaled figure of Saber riding a bike from Fate/Zero.

Definitely gonna get the figma and Nendoroid Ika Musume. Must take over the world with them XD

Catherine looks smoking hot in that alluring pose. Maybe too sexy for my bedroom ^^

And here are some of the rest of the figures that I have added to my “must-get” list when their preorder commences in future.

The next half of the years seems to be really promising with so many quality figures being showcased. Time to start saving up more money so I can afford them all!!!

GoodSmile Company & MaxFactory Wonder Festival 2011 (Summer) Exclusives

Mika-tan has updated the GSC blog with some preview of the exclusives released by GoodSmile Company and MaxFactory at the upcoming Wonder Festival 2011 (Summer) on 24 Jul 2011.

You can head over to the official page for a closer look. I’m still pondering whether I should get the full scale soft vinyl Kyuubey which cost 10,000 yen XD

Bayonetta Figurine for 180,000 Yen

This detailed figurine of Bayonetta by Mr Big Kyoto Craft House has gotta be one of the most expensive figure exhibited at Wonder Festival Winter 2011. It was priced at a amazing price of 180,000 yen which probably cost more than my entire collection of Nendoroid figures.

Love Plus Cosplay at Wonder Festival Winter 2011

Spotted outside the Wonder Festival Winter 2011 exhibition grounds is this interesting pair of cosplay of Manaka Takane [高嶺愛花] and Nene Anegasaki [姉ヶ崎寧々] from the popular dating sim Love Plus [ラブプラス].

I thought the touch of making them seems like they are popping out of the console seemed a pretty neat idea since the Nintendo 3DS launch is just around the corner. But then again, it also reminds me of how Sadako emerges from the television.

Wonder Festival Winter 2011: figma Love Plus

Back at Wonder Festival Winter 2010, GSC announced of Nendoroid Love Plus. Well at Wonder Festival Winter 2011, its MaxFactory turn to showcase their upcoming line-up of figma figures of the characters from the popular dating sim Love Plus [ラブプラス]. You can see the figma of all the three girls: Manaka Takane [高嶺愛花], Nene Anegasaki [姉ヶ崎寧々] and Rinko Kobayakawa [小早川凛子].

While there expressions seem rather average, I’m sure many fans of the game would be rushing to get them once they are release since figma figures offer unlimited options in posing.

Wonder Festival Winter 2011: GSC Bakemonogatari Figures Updates

Following the last Wonder Festival Summer 2010, GoodSmile Company continues their showcase of upcoming Bakemonogatari scaled figures at Wonder Festival Winter 2011 with a colored preview of Tsubasa Hanekawa (羽川翼) and uncolored sculpt of Mayoi Hachikuji (八九寺真宵).

Wonder Festival Winter 2011: Atelier Totori Figures

At the ongoing Wonder Festival Winter 2011, we get to see a Nendoroid and scaled figure of Totoria Helmold from the popular PS3 game Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arland 2 (トトリのアトリエ～アーランドの錬金術士 2).

Of course, the Nendoroid figure is by GoodSmile Company and she looks incredibly kawaii <3. Meanwhile the scaled figure is by Phat Company. There is no further release information on both figures.

Wonder Festival Winter 2011: figma White Rock Shooter

Mika-tan has uploaded a preview shot of figma White Rock Shooter that is currently exhibited at the Wonder Festival Winter 2011, and she looks insanely gorgeous!

This exclusive figma will be bundled along with the limited edition Black Rock Shooter PSP Game that is scheduled to be released in summer for 9,980 yen. Its rather pricey but now it seems really worth it for a figma that is so cool.

MaxFactory announced their 100th figma today at the Wonder Festival Winter event and it is figma Miku Hatsune (Append Ver.).

She looks really good and deserving of the honor of becoming the 100th figma. I especially love her semi-transparent hair.
