MaxFactory has commenced preorder for the figma figure of Arcueid – Phantasmoon from the Type-moon comedy gag Carnival Phantasm (カーニバル・ファンタズム).

She is scheduled for release in May 2012 and will be retailing for around 3,500 yen. Interested folks can place your preorders with Hobby Search, HobbyLink Japan and CDJapan.

She comes with three expressions: a standard expression, a cute winking expression and an angry expression with gritted teeth. She also comes with her magical wand, the ‘Phantasm Rod’ as well as a plate of mapodon as optional parts.

Fate/Apocrypha was previously set to be an online game based on the Holy Grail but it was subsequently dropped by Type-Moon.

In the latest Volume the of the TYPE-MOON ACE magazine, it has been announced that they will be re-launching the Fate/Apocrypha project.

It would be really interesting to see how this new project turns out. I’m sure everyone would love to have their own servant battling for the Holy Grail after watching the Fate/Zero anime series.

A special bonus disc will be bundled in the set, containing a 30 minute segment showing the final chapter of the series. Folks who can’t afford or don’t wish to get the entire set can also purchase the standalone dvd release for the final chapter for just 4,410 yen.

I must say that 52,500 yen is just too expensive and can’t be afforded by most of the fans out there. However, interesting folks can check out Amazon JP which is selling it for 38,850 yen which is a considerable 26% discount.

This piece of news will be announced in the upcoming September issue of Newtype magazine that will be release next Monday.

Mahou Tsukai no Yoru 「魔法使いの夜」

This visual novel is scheduled for release in 2009. The script is by Kinoki Nasu and concept art is by Hirokazu Koyama. This game is suitable for all ages.

If you remember, I talk about this game last week. Its supposed to be a prelude to Tsukihime and is based off the rivalry between Aoko and Touko. So basically Aoko just started learning sorcery.

This story will then lead up to Tsukihime and Kara no Kyoukai.

Tsukihime 「月姫」

This will be a remake of the original visual novel that was released in 2000.

The script will be done by Nasu and Takashi Takeuchi will be in charge of the artwork.

Girl’s Work

This is supposed to be some adventure game in a fantasy world. This game is also suitable for all ages.

The scenarios are written by Kimura Kou and Hoshizora Meteo. The concept artist for this game has not been announced yet.

Looks like this is going to be a very busy year for Type-Moon with so many projects happening at the same time. All 3 games just appear to be really good.

The news was originally planned to be announced in Type-moon Ace magazine and Techgian magazine, both scheduled to be on sale on the 21st April. But as usual, pictures of the announcement have been leaked onto 2ch.

I’ve never played the original visual novel game, but I’d love to check out this new remake when it comes out.

The story is supposedly a prelude to Tsukihime and is based off the rivalry between Aoko and Touko.
