Kotobukiya has commenced preorder for this kawaii loli figure of tsundere witch Melty from Shining Hearts (シャイニング・ハーツ). She looks so adorable with her familiar Sorbet hiding under her witch hat.

She is scheduled for release in Nov 2011 and will be retailing for around 7,140 yen. Interested folks can place your preorders with Hobby Search, HobbyLink Japan and CDJapan.

Riso Shaomei PVC Preview Scan

Here’s a preview scan of the concept art of the upcoming figure of Riso Shaomei from Shining Hearts, a new series in the Shining franchise.

Shining Hearts is a game that is slated for the PSP. The characters are all designed by Tony Taka, so that is the reason why this concept art of the figure looks so great.

Anyway, Wcloudxkumo predicts that the figure will be release by MaxFactory as they have already released a couple of Shining Wind figures in bikini outfits. Personally, I’m hoping for the figure to be produced by Alter since they make better figures ^^

Tony Taka Illustration Exhibition

Folks living in Japan are so lucky because they get to see this lovely illustration exhibition featuring Tony Taka‘s work at Toranoana’s Akihabara Shop A. The exhibition is being held from 20 Nov 2009 till 29 Nov 2009.

They are being sold by E☆2 magazine and are being sold for a hefty price of 10,000 yen.

I don’t think they are really worth it since keyboards usually get dirty very fast. Furthermore, for 10,000 yen, I can get a really good gaming keyboard.

1/7 Kotone Ousaka PVC Preview

AkibaHobby has posted some very nice photos of the seductive figure of Kotone Ousaka that is being adapted by Native from one of Tony Taka’s illustrations.

She is scheduled for release in late June and will be retailing for 8,000 yen.

I think I will purchase her just for the banana she’s holding and the table she’s sitting on. =P

On a side note, I wonder if they will release color variations of her. So maybe I should hold off my preorder when it opens.

Toranoana Launch New Figure Brand – TC2F

Toranoana, a retail franchise of otaku goods has announced their new figure brand called ã€ŒToranoana ï¼†Creators Collaboration Figure Seriesã€, or TC2F in short.

As you can guess from the name, this brand would be collaborating with famous artists.

The first figure debut will be with Tony Taka and the figure will be sculpted by Maeda Tomoki.

She is scheduled to be retailed in Toranoana shops in May for 3,990 yen or a special edition with telephone card for 4,515 yen.

That is surprisingly cheap for a figure these days. She looks very sexy as well. The only tough thing now is getting hold of her since she’s only available via Toranoana franchise shops and not through other online stores.
