Of course, there are also other items on the item that look much more appetising. Personally I think the meat from Monster Hunter looks the most promising, and probably taste better than the “Brain Cake”.

After waiting for more than a year since Nendoroid Date Masamune was released in January and finally PhatCompany has announced preorder for Sanada Yukimura from Sengoku BASARA.

He is scheduled for release in Mar 2012, and will be retailing for 3,500 yen. Interested folks can place your preorders with Hobby Search, Hobby Link Japan or CDJapan.

He comes with three expressions, including a shouting face ideal for the fanatical personality of Yukimura, a loyal face for him to show to his most respected Takeda Shingen and finally a pained expression for whenever he has not lived up to his own expectations.

There will be two pairs of glasses to be released in Aug 2011. The Date model (on the left below) is imprinted with the image of the character’s in-game weapon (the six-bladed “Claws of the Dragon”) on the right temple arm, which also has a metal version of Date’s trademark crescent moon symbol on its tip. The Sanada model (on the right below) has his dual cross spears imprinted on the right temple arm, along with a metal family crest on its tip.

The glasses will cost 3,150 yen each and both pairs ship with non-prescription lenses, but Zoff stores can replace them with prescription lenses. Both also come with cases imprinted with the character’s name and lens-cleaning cloth imprinted with their respective symbols.

I’m quite a big fan of black glasses nowadays and I think Sanada’s model does look rather nice. Wonder if my neighbourhood store will carry them ^^

The update is titled “Sengoku BASARA 3 Utage (戦国バサラ３宴)” and will be released for both the PS3 and Nintendo Wii. The update will include eight new generals and new modes for 2 players co-op.

In addition to promoting the movie, the train station was also selling limited edition Sengoku BASARA train tickets. I will talk about them in a later post.

As expected from the movie title, this will be one of the decisive grand “Battle of Sekigahara” so expect to see some of the manliest fights that were recorded in history books.

The movie is titled Sengoku Basara : The Last Party, and will be set after the first two season. Ishida Mitsunari has vowed to avenge Toyotomi Hideyoshi and appears before Date Masamune. Meanwhile, Tokugawa Ieyasu railles the military commanders for the decisive grand “Battle of Sekigahara.”

The theme song is titled FLAGS and will be sung by T.M.Revolution.

The film is being directed by Kazuya Nomura, the head of the anime series, while the screenplay is written by Yasuyuki Muto and animation is  supervised by Toru Okubo. Fans of the series can also check out the official movie website.

Been a while since the last season of the anime, I wonder if they will be making a third season after the movie. Nonetheless I’m still interested to catch the movie and see Date Masamune in action with his funny Engrish lines. XD

Anyway back to the feature topic, I’m sure folk who have played Sengoku BASARA would be familiar with Date Masamune, who is also known as the One-Eyed Dragon (Dokuganryu). I still always find it amusing when Date Masamune speaks with his Engrish. LOL
