Dear Dollfie Dream fans, its time for another DD news update from me, Mari-chan <3 Volks has officially unveiled on their official blog DD Saber Lily for the Dollpa 24 event that is coming up in Winter 2010.

However, adopting Saber Lily chan is not going to be easy. Not only everyone has to participate in the hotly contested lottery, Volks has set the adoption fee to be 95,000 yen! Mari-chan can go shopping for losta pretty clothes with that kind of money XD

Customised Black Saber Lily

The 1/7 Saber Lily PVC by GoodSmile Company is one of my favorite figure, and the highlight is of course her lovely white-armored dress. One collector thought she would look better in black, and went ahead to create this awesome customisation as seen below:

There seems to be a more mysterious aura surrounding Saber now that she is wearing black. I especially liked how the base was customised to have a couple of swords sticking our of the ground and with one of the sword has been broken.

So would you ever do any customisation to your own figures?

I do love her pose, but I think she still pales in comparison to the 1/7 Saber Lily PVC by GoodSmile Company.

Spotted on AkibaHobby’s WonHobby 9 coverage is this cute looking Nendoroid figure of Saber Lily ^^

Doesn’t she look awesome next to the upcoming 1/7 Saber Lily PVC?

Can’t wait for the Nendoroid Saber Lily and the 1/7 Saber lily to be released, so I can place them beside my figma Saber Lily.

But personally I thought they could have made a totally different pose for the Nendoroid version.
