Fans of Rozen Maiden, Zombie Loan and Shugo Chara would be happy to know that the member of mangaka duo PEACH-PIT who was hospitalized last month has recovered from her illness and their manga is scheduled to resume serialization again.

This announcement can been seen on their official website, which says that serialization is set to resume either in January or February.

As I’ve reported previously, Taro Aso is an Manga Otaku and he gotten his nickname “Rozen Aso” because he was once seen reading the manga Rozen Maiden.

Rozen Maiden Manga Continues On Young Jump Weekly

Good news for all Rozen Maiden fans! According to the latest news on 2ch, Rozen Maiden will continue to be serialised in Young Jump Weekly from Issue 20 onwards.

For those that are unaware, previously Rozen Maiden was serialized on Comic Birz. But Peach Pit stopped running the manga last December due to some internal problems with the publishers.

So looks like soon we can expect more new exciting stories in â€œ1,814,400 secondsâ€ (21 days).

New Rozen Maiden Story In Weekly Young Jump

Tomorrow latest issue of Young Jump will feature a brand new story of Rozen Maiden by Peach-Pit called “Shoujo no Tsukuri Kata” (How to make a girl). The story will be on how Shinku was made

Its been quite some time since I’ve seen any Rozen Maiden manga after Peach-Pit stopped running their manga on Comic Biz last December.

There is also rumors floating around saying that Rozen Maiden may continue to be serialised in Young Jump because there is a tiny note at the end of the comic saying that an important announcement will be made next issue (March 27th).

I love to read this new story about Shinku since she’s my most favorite character in Rozen Maiden.

NEC Rozen Maiden Speech Synthesis Engine

Seems like following the immense success of Vocaloid engine by Yamaha, its other competitors are also moving in to cash in on the situation.

According to ITmedia JP, NEC is now offering a pre-trial period of 2-3 months where registered users of Alice Project can help them to test their Rozen Maiden Speech Synthesis Engine.

Users will be able to type in a script of up to 100 characters for Shinku to read, with the aid of a database compiled from Sawashiro Miyukiâ’s very own voice, in the form of a little animated movie (complete with lip-syncing).

According to the editor of article, the pronunciation seems natural and you really get the feeling that Shinku is talking. Users can even edit the tone to make her speech seems more natural.
