Resonance of Fate is an upcoming RPG that I’ve been looking forward to more than FFXIII. If you haven been following the rest of my preview reports, then you should at least check out this preview video of GamesTrailers of the upcoming action-RPG from Tri-Ace.

The ability to customise characters, Japanese voice setting and unique battle system are three great reasons why I might be playing this game on my PS3 instead of FFXIII when it ships next week.

Spotted this youtube video of the first 4 minute plus opening of upcoming game Resonance of Fate, which is scheduled for release in Japan on 28 Jan 2010, and North American in 09 March 2010.

The opening CG animation looks really awesome! I can’t wait to hear more reviews on its gameplay.

Here’s a new trailer of Resonance of Fate [End of Eternity エンドオブエタニティ in Japanese], and this one provides an overview of the gameplay, its characters, and battle system.

Sega has announced that the game will be released in Japan on 8 Jan 2010. Folks living in North American and Europe would have to wait a little longer but the game is still expected to launch in 2010.

The portion which I’m most interested in would be the possibility to customise the character’s costume and then see it reflected even during cut scenes.

Here’s the extended trailer of this really coolsome RPG “Resonance of Fate” that is being developed by Sega and Tri-ace.

The game is about 60% complete and it is scheduled for Japanese release in Winter 2009, which means the English release is about mid to late 2010.

And here’s a look at some of the really interesting customisation that is allowed inside the game:
