Pizzahut Japan has recruited the help of idol girl group SKE48 to help promote their new “Hot Value” pizza menu.

Not only will the SKE48 be appearing in a series of CM, fans who purchase a pizza from the new menu will be able to receive a set of exclusive SKE48 poker deck.

Aniki Sings For Pizza Hut CM

Pizza Hut Japan is launching a new pizza with really crunchy crust for the Christmas season, when the crust will go “Kali Kali” [カリカリ] when you bite into it.

While the commercial features the lovely Kinoshita Yukina 木下優樹菜, the song used for the CM was sung by our favorite aniki – Ichirou Mizuki (水木一郎). Is it me or any songs that he sings just seems to have this awesome GAR element? ^^

Sengoku BASARA Pizza

We have seen canned drinks and rice, but this is just ridiculous product placement! Starting 11 May, folks who order Pizza Hut in Japan would recive their pizzas in a Sengoku BASARA pizza hut box.

Of course, there is nothing fancy inside. Just the normal pizza.

But can you ever imagine ancient folks eating pizza. This is blasphemy!!

Pizzahut Promo With Macross Frontier

PizzaHut Japan is having another tie-in promotional campaign with anime – This time they are collaborating with Macross Frontier.

Just like the previous Code Geass pizza promo, with effect from 12th May, people who order a medium-sized pizza will get a Macross Frontier design pizza box.

25 lucky customers will also get to win signed recording scripts, manga, CDs, and posters. There will also be free wallpaper for PC and mobile phone, as well as ringtones for mobile phone.

Code Geass Pizza

In promotion of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, Pizzahut Japan has launched a special Code Geass pizza.

Darkhorse of Gigazine has ordered one through Pizzahut’s online menu and took a shot of how the pizza looked like.

Looks like a standard pizza to me. Nonetheless, it still look pretty yummy to me. Did I mentioned I lurve pizzas? I try to eat it at least once every month.

This special Code Geass pizza is available from 27th March to 11th May. Only in Japan. ^_^
