Good news is that this figure will be up for preorder by GoodSmile Company tomorrow on their online shop for all international customers, and they will be shipping via a flat rate of 2,000 yen to all countries. The figure will be part of the ‘BEATLESS Introduction Set’, which also comes with a special guidebook which features a prologue to the novel, a list of terminology, various illustrations, character designs, etc.

I wonder if the new Youth Ordinance Bill 156 would have any impact on this project since the Berserk series is well-known for its abundance of violence and sex. Hence I think it would probably be disappointing for the fans to see a very toned down movie.

Its been almost two months since the Endless Eight arc started. I do hope Kadokawa seriously release some good stuff before the disgruntled fans burn down their headquarters.

The first piece of news on the OVA is release in the August issue of Newtype. Voice actors Kugimiya Rie and Hino Satoshi will reprise their roles as Shana and Yuuji respectively. Volume 1 will be released October 23rd for both DVD and Blu-ray.

As for the second piece of news on season 3, it is being reported in the August issue of Animedia. Producer Nakayama Nobuhiro revealed that the third season of Shakugan no Shana will follow the 「Shakugan no Shana S」 OVA series.

Wow this is just a great piece of awesome news! Can’t wait for April to arrive. I must surely get March issue of Newtype which comes out on 10 February.

Here’s the scans and it seems like the production team has decided on making a new series of Haruhi all over again instead of making a sequel season.

Since things are a little fuzzy at the moment, I think I’d just wait till 10 July and grab a copy of Newtype July and read everything for myself.

What came along was a nice tote bag that is large enough to throw in the Newtype magazine.

Its definitely a bag I would be using frequently. Maybe to carry my figurines purchases or when I collect my mangas or just a nice bag to use when I buy groceries.

The nice people at Newtype also threw in some Lucky Star stickers.

Of course the main feature article for this month would be on the Eva 1.0 movie. I haven read it yet, so I can’t comment on it.

There’s also a nice feature section this month where they introduce some of the upcoming anime series schedule in Autumn. If you look at the top left corner of the scan, you can see a small column. That column is actually where they got Minoru Shiraishi to report some of the surveys that he done, like what was the favorite anime characters amongst males or females. Quite interesting I must say.

Well there’s also losta other interesting news such as the confirmation of xxxHolic Season 2, more feature articles on Gundam 00, etc. So I would recommend you people to head downtown and grab a copy now.

This month the freebie is a cute Lucky☆Star fan. This is a nice idea since the heat wave is hitting Japan pretty hard.

Of course, the feature article would be on the Evangelion movie and they did a nice short article on the seiyuus.

A bit more news on the upcoming Gundam 00 anime. The pilots are featured and they also wrote about the opposing forces.

There’s also a nice write-up on the upcoming 7-part movie of Kara no Kyokai (空の境界), which is an adaptation from a light novel series. Basically its set in the same world as Tsukihime. Interestingly the protagonist of the series, Shiki Ryōgi, possessing the same abilities as Tsukihime’s protagonist, Shiki Tohno. This will only hit the screens on the 1st December, still a long wait for Type-moon fans.

This month official art gallery features the art of Hayate no Gotoku. I think the series is dragging too long to 52 episodes. The jokes are getting abit dry. But I still love the tsundere Nagi!

Lastly, there’s a short feature on the actresses that are casted in the Negima live action series. The roster can also be seen here.

The next issue of Newtype is really something I would look forward to. I’d tell you more about it next month =P
