I forgot to mentioned that last night’s Nendo’s Travelogue was done at the void deck of comrade kodomut’s apartment, so technically there wasn’t much travelling involved except for myself.

Actually we brought many figures down but I was too busy talking with comrade Maverick that I ended up with very little shots. But still, here’s the customary group shot.

As I had mentioned earlier in the previous travelogue, chapter 09 will mark the end of this project series for 2009. It had been great fun embarking on this project Nendo’s Travelogue with comrade kodomut.

But don’t worry because I had received losta feedback that you folks really enjoyed our Nendo’s travelogue, so we will still be collaborating on a few more new and exciting projects for 2010.

We are still working out the details of a couple of new projects, so I wouldn’t be sharing much information at this moment. But I’m quite sure the upcoming project will delight fans because it will feature imaginative stories and Nendoroid customisation skills.

In the meantime, I would encourage all of you to take out your cameras and go out there to do some figure photography as well. ^^

Poor Hachune and Kyouka were footrest for Drosell. LOL

There were losta lovely Chrsitmas lights all around town, and there were also many people armed with DSLR walking up and down the road taking photos.

Of course, our Nendoroid Puchi Vocaloid wanted to have some personal camera time too. I really liked this shot of Kaito with all the bokeh of lights behind him.

Miku uses her cellphone to takes a photo of Domo-kun wearing Yuki’s bunny headphone. So kawaii ~

I think Domo wants a new pair of shoes for Christmas ^^

There were just too many people and too many cars on the road. Everyone is probably using the weekend to do their Christmas shopping.

Comrad kodomut’s post is already up, so do check out his photos as well. Our travelogue is finally coming to an end and the next outing will be our last. We will try to make it an unforgetable one for all our readers out there.

But don’t worry because we will not be stopping but moving forward, we have already thought of a new photography project to start off in the new year.

The highlight of the day would be these two beauties below: my new Nendoroid Nao Mabinogi [Staccato ver.] and comrade kodomut’s Saber Lily.

The sun was really hot and it was quite difficult to take photos under the harsh lighting. Often we had to stand under the hot sun and wait for the clouds to cover up the sun before we start shooting.

Which is why I prefer to take my shots under shady trees. Green is a nice complement color to Melissa.

If you stand too much under the sun and don’t drink any water, you might end up having a heat stroke @_@

We were to busy to notice that Domo-kun was having a great time all by himself ^^

According to my intell sources, EdgeField Plains in Punggol Singapore is a great location – nice wide open grass plain that is filled with losta people flying kites on the weekends. I can already picture the fun-filled weekend that we are going to have.

Our chosen location was Bukit Batok Nature Park, and it was a great spot to kick back and relax.

The scenery was excellent with an old quarry in the background, and people were actually fishing in the small lake.

Domo-kun and Reimu seems to be really happy enjoying their morning tea and breakfast. But who’s that in the background?

Seems like someone is searching for smoked cheese again ^^

Yoshika flies over and join Reimu for some tea as well. I wonder how she manages to fly around without spilling the tea.

Miku looks so pretty in her race queen outfit and she can’t wait to be photographed. I really like the second shot with her hair in the air, makes its seems like she’s driving really fast. LOL

Kyouka decides to do some of “nature” exploring and finds some really interesting creatures.

The puchis are enjoying Miku’s new ride, but I think Domo-kun wants to join in the fun.

But the car is too tiny to take all four of them … so Domo-kun decides to drive off by himself.

When driving, it is very important to see where you are headed, otherwise accidents might happen. Hmmm … I wonder what Churuya is looking at?

That is all the photos I have taken for Chapter 06 of our Nendo’s Travelogue. Do out check comrade Kodomut’s entry as well, which has been posted up since yesterday.

Its really great to know that there are such beautiful places even in neighborhood areas. If only I lived really near, then I wouldn’t mind going there for a jog everyday ^^

We just received a report where Puchi Kyouka was taken away by two strange creatures, one who was shouting “Domo” and the other was identified as a bear =P

So here’s everyone lining up for the customary group shot. I wonder how is that in the background?

The train tracks were paved with large granite stones and it made it really difficult to walk on, and I regretted not wearing track shoes. In this photo we can see how huge the stones are compared to Pastel Ink’s face.

Since this was a live train tracks, it is important to exercise caution and walk in a single line, especially if you are crossing the train tracks.

Here’s Miku standing at the junction of the train tracks, I wonder what she is up to?

Since we were by the train tracks, the classic “damsel tied to the train tracks” is a must ^^ Poor Zetsubo sensei ended up being tied up on the rain tracks by Rin and Miku. Thankfully the next train was only due 30 minutes later …

The rest of the day was left for Nendoroids to explore on their own. Rin finds that the train tracks are being locked, and wonder why is that so?

Kagami discover an extremely rare specials of bear by the track side, it is called “Rilakkuma” ^^

Naughty Rin throws a piece of rock onto Miku’s head. That seemed to really hurt. Ouch!

After a traumatizing of being tied on the tracks, all Zetsubo Sensei wanted was to take the train home. I’ve included a video of Zetsubo Sensei by the platform while the train passes by below:

This chapter of Nendo’s Travelogue was one of the most interesting and yet most exhausting shoots. Because there weren’t any shade available anywhere, and the train tracks were extrememly hot, we became dehydrated really quick. The entire photo session only lasted for around 3 hours and we had to retreat to the nearby McDonalds.

Just one word of caution for those who intend to visit the train tracks – Do check the timing of the oncoming train before conducting the photoshoot. It is very dangerous to shoot on any live train tracks ^^
