Kadokawa has uploaded a 2 minutes trailer for the upcoming Strike Witches theatrical feature that is scheduled to be release in Japanese theatres on 17 Mar 2012.

The movie is set in Europe where Yoshika Miyafuji, who lost her witch powers during the Strike Witches’ last assignment is transferred for overseas study.

A new extended trailer has been released for the upcoming movie “Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler (ベルセルク 黄金時代篇I 覇王の卵)”, showing 6 minutes of awesome anime from the show.

For those that are able to understand Japanese, it gives a good introduction to the different characters that appear in the first movie and the crimson Behelit “Egg of the Conqueror”. However, after running through the trailer, I have a feeling that it doesn’t quite captures the dark storyline of the manga series. Nonetheless, its still one of the most anticipated anime movie on my list for 2012.

An official trailer has been released for the Hosoda Mamoru’s anime film “Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (おおかみこどもの雨と雪)”. The movie will follow Hana, a 19-year-old college student who falls in love with a werewolf and has two werewolf children (Ookami Kodomo), Ame and Yuki.

Hosoda Mamoru (細田 守) is well-known for his acclaimed works “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time” and “Summer Wars”. The movie’s script writer is Okudera Satoko, while character design is done by Sadamoto Yoshiyuki.

The Berserk Golden Age Arc I movie will be premiering in Japan next month on 04 Feb 2012 and the movie has teamed up with fast food chain Lotteria for some promotion.

Customers who purchase the special menu set will be able to get an original clear file featuring the image above. I just find it really weird to see Guts and Griffith munching on some fast food together.

After giving the green light for production last October, Warner Bros has ceased pre-production of the movie again.

There are currently two different stories as to why Warner Bros has pushed the “pause button” on Akira. According to Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros wants to brings the budget down to $60-70 million down from the original $90 million. On the other hand, Variety reports that Warner Bros wants the script rewritten and polished by a high-end writer.

At this rate that the movie is going, we might probably probably see it being finally released after 2019 where the story timeline is based on ^^

A new full length 90 seconds trailer has been released for the upcoming “Liar Game – Reborn (ライアーゲーム -再生-)” live-action movie adaptation that is scheduled to premier in Japanese theatre on 3 Mar 2012.

While Matsuda Shota returns as the genius Akiyama and he is accompanied by a new female protagonist Yuu who is played by Tabe Mikako and popular child actress Ashida Mana who plays a Alice, a member from the Liar Game Tournament (LGT) Office.

In the trailer, we get a sneak preview of the game that the players would be competing – a deceptive game of Musical Chairs.

We have already got a sneak peek at the movie images, and today Warner Bros Japan has officially unveiled the movie trailer for the upcoming Live Action Rurouni Kenshin Movie. The movie is being hosted on Yahoo! JP movie channel, so do head over there for the trailer.

The movie is scheduled to premier in Japan on 25 Aug 2012 and the official movie website already has a countdown timer.

In the trailer, we get to see some awesome slashing action by Kenshin (Takeru Satoh). Accompanying him are Emi Takei as Kaoru, Yuu Aoi as Megumi Takani, Munetaka Aoki as Sanosuke Sagara, Taketo Tanaka as Myojin Yahiko, Koji Kikkawa as Jine Udo, Yosuke Eguchi as Hajime Saitou, and Teruyuki Kagawa as Kanryuu Takeda.

A new 90 seconds trailer for the upcoming Live-Action Gyakuten Saiban (逆転裁判) Movie, otherwise know as Ace Attorney, has been released. Similarly it has been subbed in English.

In this new trailer, it is revealed that movie theme song is “2012 Spark” that is performed by Porno Graffitti. The movie will open in Japanese theaters on 11 Feb 2012.

Hosoda Mamoru is one of my most favorite anime director and I’m definitely looking forward to catching this film in the theaters. Heopfully he will be able to return for next year’s Anime Festival Asia to promote this film ^^

How incredibly awesome it would be to witness all the super sentai heroes and kamen riders from their respective franchise appearing in a single movie.

Tokusatsu fans in Japan would be able to see this movie, tentatively titled “Super Hero Taisen (スーパーヒーロー大戦（仮）), and the movie will be released by Toei during  the Golden Week holidays next year.This will be the first time that so many Super Sentai heroes and Kamen Riders co-star within the same movie.

There have been about 200 Super Sentai heroes from the original 1975-1977 Himitsu Sentai Goranger to next year’s Tokumei Sentai Gobusters. Likewise, there have been about 40 Kamen Riders from the first Kamen Rider series in 1971 to the ongoing Kamen Rider Fourze series.
