AZONE and Hobby Japan have collaborated to release a limited edition 1/6 scale doll of Ciel Phantomhive from the anime series Kuroshitsuji. He comes along with his heirloom ring and skull cane.

He is scheduled for release in Mar 2011, and will be retailing for 14,700 yen. Unfortunately he can only be bought from the Hobby Japan online store and preorders have already closed.

I think he’s one of the few males doll that I would like to get my hands on. Probably would make a good little brother companion to Mari-chan ^^

GoodSmile Company has announced preorder for Nendoroid Ciel Phantomhive (シエル・ファントムハイヴ) from the anime/manga series Kuroshitsuji 黒執事.

He is scheduled for release in Sep 2010, and will be retailing for around 3,500 yen. Interested folks can place your preorders with Hobby Search, Hobby Link Japan or Otacute.

Definitely a must buy for me, especially since he comes with a lovely set of teapot and saucer so that his butler Sebastian can serve him tea.

Mika-tan has updated the GSC blog with a couple of preview photos of the upcoming Nendoroid figure of Ciel Phantomhive (シエル・ファントムハイヴ) from the anime/manga series Kuroshitsuji 黒執事. He looks really cool and is a perfect match for the much earlier release Sebastien.

I wonder why they took so long before deciding to release Ciel. But I’m glad they finally did so that Butler and his master can be together again. By the way, preorder will be commencing tomorrow.

4th Annual Seiyuu Award Winners

The 4th annual seiyuu awards was announced yesterday, and the top honors went to Daisuke Ono [小野大輔] for his voice acting as Kuroshitsuji’s Sebastian and Miyuki Sawashiro [沢城みゆき] as Canaan.

In addition, best supporting voice actor went to Daisuke Namikawa [浪川大輔] and Shinichiro Miki [三木眞一郎], while best supporting voice actress was awarded to Kikuko Inoue [井上喜久子] and Yui Horie [堀江由衣]. If you want to see the entire list of award recipients, you can head over to ANN.

Additional information:

Hiroshi Kamiya and Rie Kugimiya won the Best Lead Actor and Lead Actress Awards, respectively, last year. Mamoru Miyano and Aya Hirano won top honors two years ago, while Jun Fukuyama and Romi Paku held the honors in The 1st Seiyū Awards the previous year.

Kuroshitsuji 2nd Season Scheduled July 2010

The official website of the Kuroshitsuji [黒執事] official website has been update with an announcement that the second season of the anime series is scheduled to air in July 2010. The new season will feature a new butler and a new master.

The new butler Claude Faustas will be voiced by Takahiro Sakurai [櫻井孝宏], while the new master Alois Trancy will be voiced by Nana Mizuki [水樹奈々].

I thought the first season was quite good, and I really enjoyed the relationship between Sebestian and Ciel. Hopefully they would make an appearance in the second season as well.

Kuroshitsuji Curry Bread

Kuroshitsuji [黒執事] fans would be familiar with the curry contest. Gigazine reports that Three F’s chain of convenience stores will be selling limited edition Kuroshitsuji [黒執事] curry bread on 01 Feb 2010 for 150 yen each.

Kuroshitsuji Confirmed For Second Season

Fans of the anime series Kuroshitsuji (黒執事) would be delighted to know they will be seeing more of the suave butler Sebastian Michaelis in action because there is confirmation of a second season!

This news announcement can be seen on seiyuu Suwabe Junichi’s blog. According to Moetron, the announcement was originally made at the 「Sono Shitsuji, Shuushou ~Saigo no Bansan wo Anata to Tomo ni~」 event held on the 14th.

Kinda wierd that they have a second season. I remember that the first season ending seems very much like the conclusion of the story. Maybe its a remake instead?

Nendoroid Sebastian Michaelis Sneak Preview

Here’s a scan that was forwarded by my friend. It features the upcoming Nendoroid Sebastian Michaelis which from the anime series Kuroshitsuji (黒執事). He looks sooo cute, he gonna be my second male nendoroid purchase.

Preorders for the nendoroid is going to open soon and it is scheduled for release in July.

Apparently this figure was showcased at the Tokyo Anime Fair 2009 but no one was allowed to photograph it.
