Japanese pop diva Koda Kumi has made another big announcement on her official website – she is pregnant with her first child.

This confirms the rumors that has been floating since she announced her marriage to Kenji03 earlier this week.

In her message to her fans, she shared that her doctor had earlier advised her against making the announcement as she had not reach her stable period of pregnancy. As the reports had started floating around, she decided to bring forward the announcement. She is excited about the new life that will be joining her family and she hopes that all her fans will continue to watch over them with warm eyes. She will make another announcement next week whether she will be able to continue her concert tour.

Japanese pop diva Koda Kumi has announced on her official website that she is getting married to Kenji03, the vocalist and guitarist of mixture rock band BACK-ON. The couple started dating after they worked on a song together earlier this year.

Koda has shared that Kenji03 is a wonderful man who has accepted someone like her. She has expressed her wishes that she would like to form a warm family that is overflowing with smiles and hopes her fans will watch over them and lend them their support.

Kenji03 has also responded that he aims to be the most punchy married couple in the universe.

In the commercials, Kobukuro plays “Layla” by Derek and the Dominos, L’arc en Ciel jams to “I Love Rock n’ Roll”, while Koda performs Cheryl Lynn’s “Got To Be Real”. I think my favorite ad has gotta be the one my L’arc en Ciel. Its really cool to see them jamming their music amongst giant bottles of Pepsi.

The most expensive bundle will consist of her new album titled “universe, her compilation album titled “Best ~third universe”, and a DVD containing the music videos for the songs in the best compilation album. Her new album is expected to be released on 03 Feb 2009.

In the meantime, you folks can enjoy her recently released single “Lick Me” back in June. I love this song because I thought she looked really cute as the ice-cream parlour waitress. I also can’t wait for her new single “Can we go back” to be released. I heard some preview on youtube and it sounds really good.

This is definitely great news for misono since she never managed to attain the top spot before in her career. On the other hand, Koda Kumi has losta #1 songs.

Here’s a look at the song performed live. Personally I don’t really like the song, find it to be rather average.

I wonder how does it feels like to live in the shadow of an elder sibling that consistently outperforms you everytime. I’d would be secretly plot to kill him/her. But then I would never know since I’m an only child. ^^

The single will feature the song “It’s all Love!” which lyrics were written together by Koda Kumi and misono. It is a fast-tempo song which talks about how an older sister cheers up her brokenhearted younger sister.

For those that are unaware, misono debuted as part of the band “day after tomorrow”. After disbanding, she went on to have an unimpressive solo career.

Past Hall of Fame winners include Ayumi Hamasaki and Becky. For this year, Ryoko Yonekura won in the actress category, while model Anne won in the talento category. I think that Koda Kumi voice is really sexy, thats why I’m a big fan of her songs. But how about female seiyuus, who do you think has a really sexy voice?
