Rewrite Scheduled For Apr 2011 Release

Key’s ninth visual novel game “Rewrite (リライト)” has finally gotten a confirmed released date on 28 Apr 2011.

Rewrite is Key’s ninth game, along with other titles such as Kanon, Air, and Clannad. As indicated by the title, rewriting is the theme of the game’s scenario, and the basis of the story is set in a high school setting.

Been quite a while since I last played any visual novel games due to my busy schedule. My last game I played that was produced by Key was Little Busters!, which was a great game because it had a lot of fun mini-games.

Midnight Launch of Loli Eroge Kud Wafter

The highly anticipated loli eroge Kud Wafter (クドわふたー) by Key had a midnight launch on Friday 25 Jun 2010 at Akihabara and AkibaBlog was there to provide coverage at 3 different locations: Gamerz Main Store, Softmap PC Game Anime Building, and Softmap Amusement Building. Just look at all these scary otakus when the clock strikes midnight. BANZAI!

Here’s a look at the queuing situation before midnight. Its nice to see that everyone is queuing up in an orderly fashion.

Someone is carrying a Kudryavka dakimakura to keep him company while queuing. I think its dangerous to be carrying such precious items around.

The stores are all getting ready to welcome the waves of otakus.

Just look at the stacks of game being piled up on the shelves. Once the clock strikes midnight, staff are busy packing and otakus are just busy buying.

Ita-Elevator Promotes New Eroge

This should be the new standard for all elevator found within Akihabara! This unique Ita-Elevator 痛エレベーター can be found at the Gamers main shop in Akihabara and its promoting the new eroge Kud Wafter (クドわふたー), a Japanese adult visual novel that is developed by Key and scheduled for release on 25 Jun 2010.

Since the game is only meant for those above 18, does that mean the ita-elevator is off limits to young kids XD

CLANNAD AFTER STORY Confirmed

News is in that CLANNAD AFTER STORY will be produced. More information will be released in the May issue of Dengeki G’s Magazine feature interview with the series director.

The cast should be mostly be unchanged from CLANNAD.
