Sometimes studying can be a very tedious process if your teacher or the subject is boring. Then again, if we have these awesome AKB48 study reference books back in my school days, I’d probably would have gotten much better grades ^^

There are study references for both elementary school and high school though all of them are written in Japanese. I’m quite tempted to get a copy of the study reference for Japanese, then again I might get distracted halfway just looking at the photos in the book (if there are any).

Its been quite a long time since we heard any creepy Japanese stories of weird perverts secretly filming 1,000 women with hidden cameras or stealing 3,000 pairs of pantsu. Just yesterday, a 55-year-old unemployed man was arrested in Tokyo by the police because he was collecting spit from over elementary school girls.

According to the police, this man would approach elementary school girls on the street and ask them to provide him with saliva samples for his “research”. He would then get girls that agreed to spit into tiny white cups. The man had confessed that he was using the spit for his own sexual gratification. What’s even more shocking is that he had been doing this for 17 years and had collected spit from 500 little girls!!!

Police are charging this creep with a section under the Tokyo’s Nuisance Prevention Ordinance that bans vulgar speech or actions in public that cause unease and anxiety to other people. If the case goes to trial and he is convicted, he could face up to 1 year in prison and a fine of up to 1,000,000 yen.

Even though what he did seemed quite harmless, I still say lock him up and throw away the key!! While I write this story, I feel quite disgusted to imagine what he would be doing with those spit he collected.

Yesterday was the start of the first day of the new school year in many districts across Japan, and it was a mix of feelings as children get to meet their new teacher but some had to deal with the loss of former classmates. For areas that had been badly affected by the Touhoku Earthquake and Tsunami, the government and educators are scrambling to repair schools, round up teachers and cope with the tens of thousands of displaced people.

Here’s a news story of another creepy elementary school teacher and this time it is in Saitama Prefecture. He was arrested by the police after he allegedly hid a camera in a girls’ toilet of his school in an attempt to video his students. When questioned by the police, he said: ”I like girls and I wanted to take a peep video of them.”

According to coworkers, the teacher—identified as Satoshi Nagahama, 29—regularly came into work early. It is alleged that on Sept 10, he arrived before his coworkers, entered a fourth floor girls’ toilet and affixed a miniature camera to a pipe using tape. Schoolgirls noticed the camera and reported it to the school, who in turn informed police.

Wondering how police managed to catch this creepy pedophile? When they were checking the camera for evidence, they found photos of the accused stored in it! LOL

‘‘How many days does it take to kill all 18 kids when killing three a day?’’ This was the question asked by a third-grade mathematics teacher in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture. Of course, it wasn’t an appropriate division problem and it resulted in the teacher being reprimanded.

The 45-year-old male teacher of a local public school admitted to the instance when school authorities asked him about it after the education board was tipped off by a person believed to be a parent of one of his students, according to the board.

During a math class in July, the teacher verbally asked his class, ‘‘How many days does it take to kill all 18 kids when killing three a day?’’ He reportedly told the school authorities that the words just slipped out of his mouth.

He said he would never do it again, but the school also found during the hearing that he previously slapped a female student, though she was not injured.

A board official, Kyoko Ota, said the incident is intolerable and authorities would closely watch the teacher to ensure that he acts appropriately.

He received the reprimand from the board on July 16, but the board did not make the incident public for about two months because ‘‘the teacher’s behavior was not continuous and the students did not receive serious damage from it,’’ Ota said.

I’m sure parents are thankful that he was just teaching Maths and not the Science lab section. ^^”

Yesterday, we read the interesting news about the Elementary School Named After Eroge Site, and the mayor had flatly refused to change its name despite parents’ concern. Well, it appears that after the repeated media bashing, the mayor has finally cave in to the pressure and relented on his stance towards the name change.

Today the mayor has announced that the elementary school name will be changed after he began concerned about the security of the school and the safety of the elementary school kids. A new school name will be decided in due time.

Before he officially announces the newly decided name for the school, I do hope he will remember to run it through Google first ^^

Sakuranbo Elementary School さくらんぼ小学校 might sound pretty innocent to the most of us. But a popular eroge company also uses the same title, hence creating controversy when the mayor of Yamagata prefecture decided use it for the new elementary school that is scheduled to open next year.

Of course the bad decision has now been spreading all over the news and concerned parents are asking authorities to change the name of the elementary school. However, the mayor has announced that he will not be changing the name anytime soon, and he was quoted saying:

「校名を変えれば、かえってアダルトの世界を正当化することになる」

Changing the school name would mean justifying the existence of eroge.

Soon all the crazy pedobears will be flocking to the school and then when something happens to the poor elementary school kids, the mayor would have losta explaining to do, especially to the parents for his decision not to change the school’s name.
