Oricon: Which Manga Series To Leave Behind For Future Generation

Japan has produced losta awesome anime and manga, but there will be a time where we will all be gone. So Oricon asked 900 men and women who love manga, which manga series do they most want to leave behind for future generation.

Lupin III VS Detective Conan DVD & Blu-Ray Scheduled For July Release

Following the airing of Lupin III VS Detective Conan on the 27th March 2009, the DVD and Blu-ray disc are scheduled to be release on the 24 July 2009.

According to GA Graphic, the DVD will be sold for 5,040 yen, while the Blu-ray disc will be sold for 6,090 yen.

For those that are unaware, the TV special was commissioned as to celebrate Nippon Television’s 55th anniversary and Yomiuri Television’s 50th anniversary.

Lupin III VS Detective Conan Airing 27th March 2009

Following the new of Lupin III VS Detective Conan anime special, the official website has been updated to indicate that the TV special will air on 27th March 2009 (9pm-11pm).

Lupin III VS Detective Conan Official Website Launched

Following news of the anime special Lupin III Showdown Against Detective Conan, Nippon TV has launched the official website.

According to the website, this TV special is commissioned as to celebrate Nippon Television’s 55th anniversary and Yomiuri Television’s 50th anniversary.

While there are no mention of the airing date, Sponichi mentions that the anime special is likely to air in late March.

Lupin III Showdown Against Detective Conan

Even wondered who would come out winner in a battle of wits when Lupin III meets Detective Conan? Plans have been confirmed for a Lupin III vs Dectective Conan anime special.

This scan was taken from the latest issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine and posted on 2ch. The story is set to be revolving around Lupin battling Conan for a mysterious treasure.
