Omake (おまけ) usually refers to extra goodies in relation to the anime/manga series and it is usually delivered in terms of extra scenes at the end of an episode, special features (interviews, behind-the-scenes bloopers) inserted onto the DVD, or shitajiki and figures bundled with the anime DVD.

I usually prefer omake where characters are caught in humorous situations or when they behave unlike their usual self or appear in a chibi-form. One of my favourite omake has gotta be this short clip of Revy from Black Lagoon transforming into a Magical Shoujo.

Timcampy Necklace

Attention all crazy D. Gray-man fangirls! This little Timcampy might just be the perfect accessory for you to wear around your neck. It is made of pure silver and will be released on 22nd December 2007.

Unfortunately, its not going to be cheap. It will be retailing for around 9,000 yen. But I guess its worth it since its made of pure silver and then gold-plated.

This is certainly very cute and they should release it as a handphone strap instead. Then maybe I would buy it.

Nami Tamaki – Brightdown

Finally after about 2 months of waiting, this has been released! The single was released just yesterday on the 29th August 2007 featuring the track “Brightdown” which is the theme song for the anime series D. Gray-man.

This single is sung by Nami Tamaki who is well known for her songs in the Gundam Seed franchise.

Ever since the song first appeared on episode 26, I was telling myself. Darn, this is an awesome opening theme.

Since then, I have been waiting desperately for the single to be released.

The single contains 4 tracks:
1: Brightdown
2: Anata Iro no Namida
3: Endless Dream
4: Brightdown (Instrumental Version)

The other 2 tracks also follow closely to her style. “Endless Dream” is more of a JPOP song with a very nice beat to it. Anata Iro no Namida is a slow song that sounds pretty average to me.

I don’t really like the pv though, I feel that there is simply too much things happening within the pv at the same time. Watching it makes me dizzy o_O

Brightdown Lyrics

Oh yar, did I mentioned that the new Utada Hikaru for the Evangelion movie is simply breathtaking. I will talk more about it tomorrow.
