The Maria-sama ga Miteru Live-Action Movie will be premiering in Japan this weekend, and in conjunction with the movie launch, CureMaid Meido Café in Akihabara will be converted to a special Maria-sama ga Miteru Café from 5 Nov till 7 Nov 2010.

『Welcome to THE SPACE SHOW』 Café

In conjunction with the screen of the anime movie 『Welcome to THE SPACE SHOW』『宇宙ショーへようこそ』on 26 Jun 2010, Curemaid Café will be having a special promotion whereby the café will be transformed into one themed after the movie.

Here’s a preview of the special menu that will be served at the café between the period of 25 Jun 2010 till 11 Jul 2010.

Mayoi Neko Overrun! Café

From 11-20 Jun 2010, Curemaid Café, Pasela Café and Wonder Café will be transformed into a special Mayoi Neko Overrun! (迷い猫オーバーラン!) Café. Mayoi Neko Overrun! (迷い猫オーバーラン! ) is a Japanese light novel series that has been adapted into anime and manga.

Apart from showcasing art from the series, there will also be yummy food served at the Mayoi Neko Overrun! Café. Customers can also purchase character goods as well ^^

EVA Cafe Reopens To Celebrate Release of Evangelion 2.0 Blu-Ray/DVD

To celebrate the release of the Blu-Ray and DVD of Evangelion 2.0, the special time-limited EVA cafe will be reopening from 14 May 2010 till 6 Jun 2010. The participating meido cafes are pasela cafe, curemaid cafe, Wonder cafe and 男装カフェ＆Bar QUEEN DOLCE.

Da Capo @ Curemaid Café

Starting from 02 April till 11 April, Curemaid Café is having a special promo campaign where the meido cafe is transformed into specially themed cafe based on the popular Da Capo franchise.

Here’s a plate of yummy Hatsunejima Hamuburger Steak 初音島ハンバーグプレート

Yume specially made onigiri 由夢特製おにぎり

Five colorful drinks that are named after the girls (left to right): Otome Asakura, Nemu Asakura, Yume Asakura, Kotori Shirakawa and Nanaka Shirakawa. In addition, the drinks are served on lovely coasters.

Of course the cafe is also decorate with lovely character goods from the franchise.

EVA Cafe Reopens For Evangelion 2.0

Last year during the screening of Evangelion 1.0, Gainax partnered with pasela cafe and curemaid cafe to create the special time-limited EVA cafe. So likewise, the EVA cafe will be reopening for the upcoming Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance movie, and this time it will be located at three cafes – pasela cafe, curemaid cafe and Wonder cafe.

EVA cafe will start on 24 June 2009 and will end around 26 July 2009. Here’s a preview of the lovely drinks, food and collectible coasters that can be found at the EVA cafes:

Those specially designed dishes look really cool, especially the dessert cake featuring the seventh Angel Israfel.

Sengoku Basara @ CureMaide Café

Starting 15 May, CureMaide café will be holding a special Sengoku Basara promo. Of course, there will be yummy samurai-themed dishes to be served at the cafe. My favorite would be the 2nd dish with the flag Fūrinkazan[風林火山].

There are also coolsome collectible coasters featuring characters from the anime/game.

I quite enjoying the Sengoku Basara anime series. Especially love the fight scenes, but what else can you expect from Production I.G. ^^

Gurren-Dan Cupcake

In celebration with the launch of the 2nd Gurren Lagann movie – 「劇場版天元突破グレンラガン螺巌篇」 , Curemaid Cafe will be temporarily transformed into Gurren cafe until 10 May, and all their dishes are specially themed just like this awesome Gurren-dan cupcake.

There are losta cool dishes and even the drinks are named after the protagonists of the show.

You can head over to Curemaid Cafe to catch a glimspe of the different specially-themed dishes. ^^

Chaos;Head @ CureMaid Café

In conjuction with the release of the XBOX 360 port Chaos;Head Noah (カオスヘッドノア), Curemaid Cafe is having a Chao;Head promotional campaign starting 26th Feb until 8th March.

Here’s a quick look at the menu:

This dish is called: Whose eyes are those? [だれの目？] If you have played the game, you would be familiar with this phrase.

Yummy cup of ice-cream going for only 600 yen.

A variety of drinks that are named after the characters in the game: Sena Aoi – blue hawaii and berry soda (left), Rimi Sakihata – Pomegranate syrup and Calpis (center). The drink on the right will be given free of charge to those that bring a copy of the game to the café.

And a lovely specially designed Chaos;Head coaster for you to place those drinks.
