I usually prefer omake where characters are caught in humorous situations or when they behave unlike their usual self or appear in a chibi-form. One of my favourite omake has gotta be this short clip of Revy from Black Lagoon transforming into a Magical Shoujo.

The original resin cast kit was sold back in May 2009 as an Hobby Japan mail-in exclusive, but now she is available as a complete prepainted figure ^^

She is scheduled for release in May 2011, and will be retailing for 15,540 yen. Interested folks can place your preorders with Hobby Search.

While her face seems kinda different from the real Revy, but the details of the rest of the figure is simple amazing.

Episode 1 will be airing all over Japan’s TV station starting 26 Jun – 29 Jun 2010.

MBS will be showing the long edition of the TV edit, while the rest of the TV stations will be broadcasting the short TV edit version.

Its so nice to see the crazy meido assasin Roberta go on a rampage in Roanapur again ^^

This piece of news was announced on Shogakukan’s GX news website:

アニメ最新作である第3期はOVAとして2010年発売予定になることが決定。発売中のGX8月号ではスタッフ＆キャストからのメッセージを公開！　アニメの最新情報は今後も本誌で随時お届けします。お楽しみに！

The news will also be published in the August issue of Shogakukan’s Monthly Sunday GX magazine.

It seems like director Sunao Katabuchi will return for the OVA along with character designer Masanori Shino and the Madhouse anime studio.

Since its just a rumor,  there are no further information available at the moment.

Well the manga should have advanced pretty far by now, so I gather there should be plenty of new action.

Lets just hope this piece of rumor is true. ^_^
