She also updated that her new fan club is also now accepting applications and will be opened soon. Had a recent discussion with a couple of my friends on whether she is indeed a talented seiyuu. Personally I do think so, but what do you think?

Earlier this year, seiyuu and idol Hirano Aya announced her departure from music label Lantis and on Friday (12 Aug 2011) she has announced on her blog that she would be leaving her talent agency Spacecraft Entertainment. Along with her resignation from Spacecraft, her fan club will be shutting down as well.

The reason she cited was “disagreement in the future direction”. She has also revealed that she began discussions for leaving Space Craft immediately after her birthday last year. She already decided on her next agency.

I think Hirano-san is going through a really tough patch now, especially having to deal with the pressure from her recent sex scandal that was widely reported in the press (even in Singapore!). I still think she is a wonderful seiyuu and she probably needs some time to sort everything out. Hopefully she will be able to get through all these and produce excellent works in the future again.

In addition, the series of tweets also reiterated her frustrations and loneliness that she had felt during last year when she had problems with her health. Hirano then thanked her fans for all their encouraging words and support and promised that she would update her fans once she is ready to perform music again.

Kamiya Hiroshi voice always remind me of Zetsubo Sensei and I can’t imagine god being so wacky. LOL

Personally I always thought that god would sound like Sugita Tomokazu 杉田智和, the seiyuu that is well known for his role as Gintoki in Gintama, and Kyon in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Well Aya Hirano actually lend her voice to Hana, who is the secretary of Shun Akiyama (秋山 駿), who is one of the four protagonist in the game. Hana is a very interesting character and Aya Hirano definitely did a good job injecting that kawaii fun personality into Hana.

I thought she was quite cute when she laughed at her own joke about the book being very cheap at 1,995 yen.

Tomiko Suzuki, the original voice actress for both Dende and Cargo, the Namekian alien brothers, had passed away in 2003. So this time round, Aya Hirano is invited to voice Dende and Satomi Satou will voice Cargo.

Her first 2 DVD were titled Love Letter [ラブレター] and Love Story [ラブストーリー], and hence the reason why its called Love Series.
