So just to make the record straight, Otosan never brought me out yesterday since it was a weekday and he would have been working in the office so I never got lost. Phew ~ But now that I think of it, he never brings me out! Hmmph!

I hope no one is angry with Otosan for this distasteful prank of his. I have given him a noggin on his head. Baka Otosan! ☆⌒(＞。≪)イタイ

Nevertheless, I feel safe with Otosan because I know that he never lets me out of his sight when he brings me out. Most of the time, I’m not allowed to wander off to explore on my own but I know that he’s worried some nasty men would try and take me away from him.

Alafista: Thanks to everyone that showed concern for Mari-chan. You guys and gals are really great! Really felt bad lying to some of my good friends and I even saw some friends posting on their Facebook to help ask around for Mari-chan whereabouts. So here’s an after review exercise to examine why the prank failed and how to improve next year:

1. Posted Too Late:
   I thought that I posted the article too late when everyone had probably been pranked or were awakened to the fact that it is already 1st April. Maybe next time, I will try something on the 31st March instead.
2. Story not convincing enough:
   The story was probably not convincing enough. I should have went out to buy a domain name. That would seem more realistic.
3. Not enough shock:
   Lastly, the article probably didn’t bring enough shock to you folks. If only I could have thought of something similar to the Dragon Quest IX prank.

Well now I have another 364 days to plan for my next sinister plan. Hopefully I will be able to prank some readers next time. =P

I pity the poor 2000 folks who stood outside in the cold. It would be really “funny” if they started a riot and burned down Softmap for this prank. But still I’m puzzled why these people still fell for it considering this wasn’t the first time such a prank was pulled.

So which ones of the prank did you love the most? I had a good laugh out of them, especially those eroge companies who turned all their bishoujo games into yaoi games. LOL

ABC Community:

The ABC community has one of the most elaborate dorama ever this year, with Owen as the main protagonist. The combination of CJ and DS’s post just made the thing seems so believable.

The entire ordeal provided me with losta trolling fun because I had fortunately managed to see through their plan from the start.

How so? Because coincidentally, just a day before the entire ordeal started, my friends and I have already decided to start planning for our major April Fools’ Day prank for my class presentation. Therefore, when I read CJ Blackwing’s post, it almost instantly occurred to me that they were starting a very elaborate prank.

I believed alot of poor innocent victims got pranked by their elaborate drama and I must give them props for managing to plan so way ahead to make the entire thing so successful.

DannyChoo & Nitro+:

Nitroplus studio and Dannychoo also came up with a fun prank where Danny’s blog mascot Mirai became the star of their “upcoming” eroge.

I would have fallen for that if not for the fact that previous year Danny tried to prank us into believing Mirai gets her own anime. (Which I actually did back then. Grrr!)

Circus:

They announced that they would be producing a bishounen game called D.C II B.L ~ Da Capo II ~ Blue Label

Hinano site was mysteriously invaded by Ronald McDonalds. LOL. I still can’t believe I sat through the entire McDonalds video.

Japan Probe:

James was nearly deported back to China and he was contemplating to change Japan Probe to China Probe instead. LOL

RIUVA:

The team at RIUVA has the most explicit prank of the day. They were gather photos of the largest, thickest and small manhood and winners get free Tengas. LOL

Anyway, for those interested in my own prank in school. My friends and I also started our own little drama during class presentation. We had prearranged to “gang up” on one friends who had conveniently “forgotten” to bring our powerpoint presentation. So she pretended to cry and stormed out of the room crying, leaving our lecturer and the rest of the class in shock. ^_^

Haha. it was good fun to play pranks on April Fools’ Day. Hopefully I didn’t get marks deducted for that. =P

EDIT: I can’t believe I spent do much time surfing the internet for pranks today that I’m now stuck at 1a.m. trying to finish writing my research paper that is due this Friday. >_<

The udon looks really yummy though. Now I gotta go find some lunch to cure my hunger.

0verflow, announced that they would be releasing a new eroge: Sekai Days. You can watch the demo movie on Nico Nico to see a disturbing scene of Taisuke Days at the end. >_<

But they were very nice to make up for it by uploading a pdf file to teach you how to make you very own paper “Nice Boat”. The pdf is available via torrent. I wonder if its really workable. I’d might give it a try once I clear all my assignments this weekend.
