GoodSmile Company has commenced preorder for their next figure in the actsta series – Fate Testarossa from the recent anime movie Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st.

She is scheduled for release in Mar 2011, and will be retailing for around 7,140 yen. Interested folks can place your preorders with Hobby Search, HobbyLink Japan or Otacute.

Mika-tan has uploaded some preview shots of the next figure in the actsta lineup and it will be Fate Testarossa, which is expected since actsta: Nanoha Takamachi PVC is due to be released this Dec. Preoders for her will probably start next week.

I think this is probably the final acsta figure for the Nanoha series and we can finally move on to another series. Nonetheless it is still worth it to get Nanoha and Fate just to recreate those awesome fight scenes ^^

I wondering if GSC intends to release all the girls from the Nanoha franchise before moving onto another series. I hope to see more interesting figures for their actsta lineup soon.

GoodSmile Company’s has started taking preorder for their second actsta figure – Teana Lanster from the anime series Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. She is Subaru Nakajima’s roommate, who was the first acsta figure to be produced by GoodSmile Company.

She is scheduled for release in June 2010 and will be retailing for 9,800 yen. Interested folks can place your preorders with Hobby Search, Hobby Link Japan or Otacute.

I hope they can make good use of this new technology and release some characters from other series. Personally I would love to see Canaan or Revy get adapted since I could then pose them in different action sequence with such lovely articulation.

Mika-tan has uploaded a pair of preview photos of the next actsta figure featuring Teana Lanster from the anime series, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Strikers. Coincidentally, she is Subaru Nakajima’s roommate, who was the first acsta figure to be produced by GoodSmile Company.

Finally GoodSmile Company’s new figure lineup – actsta is up for preorder and the first character is Subaru Nakajima from the anime series Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS.

Just in case you are still unfamiliar about this lineup, here’s the description from the GSC site:

actsta is a new action figure series brought to you from Good Smile Company, designed to focus on both mobility and superior sculpting.

act – able to actively move around, and act out various scenes

sta – a statue that maintains a high quality image

Combining these two ideas, Good Smile Company is aiming for an all new action figure series. Be sure to give them a try with your own two hands!

She is scheduled for release in November and will be retailing for 9,800 yen. Interested folks can place your preorder at Hobby Search or Toylet.

Even though I’m not a big fan of Subaru, I think I will still preorder her so that I can check out for the quality of the actsta lineup.

actSta: 1/8 Scale Articulated Figure From GSC

Maxfactory’s figma are one of the most awesome figures out on the market – small and easy for carrying around. However, they lack the awesomeness of a larger scale figure. Therefore, the folks at GoodSmile Company are introducing a new revolutionary 1/8 scale articulated figure series called actSta.

The concept of the name “actSta” is pretty straightforward, its a combination of the words “action” and “statue”. As you can see, the figure includes a stand just like the usual figma figures, so that you can pose your figures in whatever manner you want. This photo of Subaru in the air is just so epic!
