Finally after waiting for such a long period of time, we have news confirmation that the second season is in production. Issue 12 of Square Enix’s Young Gangan seinen manga magazine will announce on Friday that a television sequel for the Darker than BLACK anime has been green-lit. This reminds me, I have not finished watching the first season yet, and only managed to watch it halfway tru. I must find some time out this weekend to complete the series.

Their aim is to gather 1 million signature so that they can ask the House of Represenatives to grant them the legal right to wed the 2D character of their choice.

Their leader expresses clearly that he has no interest in real women:

If possible we would like to become inhabitants of the 2D world. With current technology standards however, this won’t be possible anytime soon. Having said that, at least we ask for the legal right to marry a 2D character. If comes though I would like to marry Asahina Mikuru.

I think it is kinda absurd. Doesn’t that mean that everyone can marry Mikuru. And that would take any special meaning out of it. And I definitely prefer real women. LOL
