The Akiba Fumi Momi Police [あきば★ふみもみポリス] are not a special unit created by the Tokyo Police Department. They are a salon located in Akihabara that has cute girls cosplaying as police officers and giving customers massages.

You can choose to let the nice officer “trample” on your back.

Have a nice shoulder massage while lying on the officer’s lap. ( I like this one!)

Or have her clean out your filthy ears while lying on her lap ^^

I think I still prefer the Knee Pillow Nurse Station that was featured back in 2008. Somehow I just don’t find the police authority figure as moe.

Trigun: Badlands Rumble New Trailer

A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Trigun movie titled Trigun: Badlands Rumble, which is scheduled to air in Japan on 24 Apr 2010.

The greatest surprise of all is thay my favorite character Nicholas D. Wolfwood will be appearing in the movie too!! Wohoo!!

Kawaii Reimu Loli Cosplay

AkibaBlog spotted this kawaii little loli cosplaying as Reimu from the Touhou Project franchise. She was spotted in Messe Sanoh shop in Akihabara.

Apparently she was in the store helping out to promote the Liquid Stone Reimu figure. If I was there, I would ask the shopkeeper how much would it cost to bring the loli Reimu home ^^

Akihabara Majokko Princess

Here’s an weird music video filmed by director McG called Akihabara Majokko Princess. It features Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst prancing around Akihabara wearing a sailor moon styled uniform, singing the 80’s song “Turning Japanese”.

The video was produced as part of the “Pop Life” exhibition by Takashi Murakami at London’s Tate Gallery. I can’t seem to make much sense of the video except that wonder why they would associate Turning Japanese with just Akihabara?

Meido Café Operates On Train

We have seen losta of unique meido café in Akihabara, but this is probably the first “moving meido café” concept. A special limited run of meido café that is operated on a moving train!

Meido Train 「メイドトレイン」 is a unique meido café that will be operating on the trains moving on the Minato Line and the Oarai Kashima line of Kashima Rinkai Railway. It will only be operating for 2 days: 21-22 Mar 2010. There will be 5 trips on each day and the tickets will cost around 1,000 yen to 1,900 yen.

YAMATO EXPO’10 – Valentine Special Event

This awesome 1/3 scale replica of the bow of Space Battleship Yamato [宇宙戦艦ヤマト] is on display at the YAMATO EXPO’10 – Valentine Special Event held at Bellesalle Akihabara [ベルサール秋葉原]. The exhibition is held on two days 13 Feb till 14 Feb 2010, and losta related goods from the anime series will be put on display.

I think someone should create a real life-size Space Battleship Yamato just like how they constructed the life-size scaled Gundam.
