On the chart of “dream jobs”, nightclub hostess is ranked #9 while a civil servant is only ranked#18.

James goes on to explain that it is because successful hostesses can make a lot of money.

According to Asahi news, the average hourly pay of a hostess is 4000 yen, more than doubled the 1200 yen hourly average paid to female officer workers.Of course, popular ones would be earning millions of yen per year.

As you can see, at the end of the night, Momoka earns about 250,000 yen. Thats close to what I earn in a month!!

But after work, life is not that glamorous. Momoka goes back to a small apartment and she says that she doesn’t intend to stay in this line for long. Her ambition is to earn enough money so that she can open her own doggie cafe.

I thought it was an interesting report. I had always wondered how much those hostesses earn and how I gotten a better answer. So how many of you ever visited a nightclub before?

This anime just aired on 4th October and I haven gotten around to watching yet. But it was one of the anime on the top of my must watch list this season.

Police said that Akira Hino was arrested last week for stealing a pair of panties from a clothesline on a second-floor balcony.

Police said he used a 3-meter rod and caught the underwear on a hook.

He was spotted by a resident who called police.

Officers found more than 500 pairs of women’s underwear inside his apartment.

He reportedly told investigators he had got into the habit of stealing undergarments when he was 18.

Zookeepers were wondering why the dolphins were having trouble making high jumps during shows, so they measured their weight and found all had gotten plumper.

Some of the dolphins had gotten up to 22 pounds heavier just during the summer.

The main reasons was because the mackerels on their menu had unknowingly gotten fattier this year. Which is why even though the menu was the same, the dolphins were consuming more calories than usual.

Now the dolphins have to undergo a diet too. LOL

Actually making food for astronaut isn’t that easy, this is because the food has to be preserved long enough without a refrigerator. In addition, solid food has to retain stickiness strong enough to prevent it from scattering in weightlessness.

And the folks at Nissin actually managed to create ramen for the folks in space. Back in 2001, the founder of Nissin Ando Momofuku, has actually already announced his plans to develop noodles for astronauts.

After trial and error, researchers devised a method of making bite-size balls of ramen and coating their surface with the white of an egg to enable them to hold their spherical shape even when hot water was poured over them and also to prevent them from scattering.

The price of Japanese space foods range from 1,000 yen to 4,000 yen each because they are made by special order.

Since Taro Aso is an otaku, maybe they should sell his favorite Rozen Maiden manga as well. LOL

There is a small chip in the robots that prevents them from falling by detecting the degree of leaning of the robot. So it will be able to somehow keep itself balanced.

The 2 robots are called “Seiko” and “Seisaku” and the company had spent 30,000,000 yen over a period of 6 months to develop them.
