The official website for the live-action movie adaptation of Toshokan Sensou (図書館戦争) has started streaming the promotional trailer. The movie is scheduled to premier in Japan on 27 Apr 2013.
The movie is adapted from a series of light novel, and is based in the future where the Japanese government clamps down on the freedom of expression in 2019. The local government form units of Library Defence Force that is dedicated to protecting the library books from being confiscated.
The series have previously been adapted into manga series and an anime series that aired back in 2008.
