Production I.G has announced a new Ghost In The Shell movie and it is scheduled to air some time in 2013. The movie is titled Ghost in the Shell Arise (攻殻機動隊 ARISE), and the official website has been launched.
The movie will be directed by Kise Kazuchika, who has worked as the animation director and key animator for countless anime series.
More details on the movie cast and storyline will be announced during a streaming event in February, so the only thing we can do now is speculate. But I really like the new look that Motoko Kusanagi is sporting. Of course, everyone would be excited about a new GITS movie XD
