For the past couple of weeks, otakus have been voting intensely for their favorite moe character in the ongoing annual Saimoe Tournament 2012 (アニメ最萌トーナメント2012).
The finalists for the quarter-finals have finally been decided, and it is interesting to note that it is dominated by six of the girls from the anime series Saki (咲-Saki-), and accompanied by Saimoe veterans Shana (Shakugan no Shana) and Louise de la Valliere (Zero no Tsukaima).
The semi-finals would be taking place on 31 Oct and 01 Nov, while the champion would be crowned on 03 Nov 2012. Of course, I would be following the tournament closely from for the last 3 final battle, so we can see who is the newly crowned Saimoe winner.
