The Rainbow Bridge is popular with tourists in Tokyo, but for Today’s Japan Photo, we will be visiting the Eitai Bridge 永代橋 in Tokyo that is located near the Tsukishima skyscraper.
The bridge was originally constructed using timber in 1696, but it was destroyed during the 1923 Kanto earthquake. It was then rebuilt with high-strength steel. The bridge is one of Tokyo iconic structure and it looks even more beautiful when illuminated at night with its blue lights.
