After a pretty good turnout of 40,000 visitors last year, Anime Content Expo will be returning for another year and the official website has confirmed that ACE 2013 will be held on 30 Mar 2013 and 31 Mar 2013.
The Anime Content Expo was held for the first time last year and its considered the new kid on the block when contrasted against the established Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF 2012). It would be interesting to see whether more publishers and content owners will be exhibiting at this year’s show.
ACE 2012 was a resulting efforts of major Japanese publishers coming together to organise their own event having boycotted the TAF to express their objections to the “Youth Healthy Development Ordinance” that was earlier passed by the Tokyo government to regulate anime & manga content.
