We had previously seen famous landmark such as the Kumamoto Castle (熊本城) and Tetsujin 28-go statue being painted with pink lights to raise raise awareness for breast cancer. For Today’s Japan Photo, we see another famous landmark, the huge torii gates near Kumano Shrine (熊野本宮大社) in Wakayama Prefecture being given the same treatment.
