The Japanese music is overflowing with many girl idol groups that consists of a variety of kawaii girls, hence avex’s new label Bari Bari Records had recently begun auditions to recruit “Yankees” for its first delinquent girls idol group.
Of course, this new idol group is aimed at being the ”antitheses” of the kawaii girls groups such as AKB48, StylipS and many other female groups out there. Potential candidates are required to have good looks, be able to sing and have “a unique lifestyle and values”.
