For Today’s Japan Photo, we will take a look at this exciting capture of the Narita Gion Matsuri 成田祇園祭り. It is one of the greatest festivals held in Narita for three days in early July every year. During the period, people carry a portable shrine, as well as about ten decorated festival cars and stages that belong to respective blocks of the city. More than 300,000 viewers gather every year.
