Its been a long wait, and fans of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険) are celebrating because the manga series will finally be adapted into an anime series. The series is slated to start airing in Oct 2012 and the storyline will begin right from the starting of the Phantom Blood story arc.
Manga fans would know that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is one of the longest running manga series, and it is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The popular series is created by Araki Hirohiko, and its huge storyline is enough to fill up several seasons of anime but it has never been fully adapted into an anime series. Only 2 OVAs and a feature film has been created thus far.
