Last Sunday, seiyuu Fukuhara Kaori (福原 香織) was invited to the Seibu Lion match against Orix Buffalo to throw the opening baseball pitch, and she managed quite a good throw as seen in the youtube clip.
As reported earlier, Saitama Prefecture is home to the baseball club Seibu Lions and the popular anime/manga franchise Lucky☆Star (らき☆すた). Hence, to honor the anime series, Seibu Lions dedicated 24 Jun as “Lucky☆Star Day”.
