How would you like to be a citizen of Udon Prefecture? For Today’s Japan Photo, we take a look at this interesting Udon Prefecture passport that has been distributed by the Tourism Association of Kagawa Prefecture in Japan.
Kagawa Prefecture is famous for its udon noodles, and so much that prefecture officials started a campaign about a year back where there were talks of changing the prefecture’s name to “Udon Prefecture うどん県”. A special official website was even created to promote Udon Ken.
If there was ever the chance, I would love to live in Udon Prefecture ^^
