STGCC 2012 Features Cosplayer Guests Touya Hibiki & Kousaka Yun

The Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) 2012 is taking place on 1-2 Sep 2012 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center, and it will feature two famous cosplayer guests – Touya Hibiki (十夜ひびき) and Kousaka Yun (香坂ゆん).

Its really great to see so many famous cosplayers visiting Singapore in the past couple of years, and I’m sure its a great opportunities for cosplay fans to meet their favorite stars as well. While I’m not familiar with Touya, I’m very amazed to learn that she is actually a female because her characters are seriously so dashing! O_O

Touya Hibiki

Touya Hibiki is a famous cosplayer in Japan, well-known for her extremely charming portrayal of male anime and manga characters. Her flawless cosplay of familiar male characters such as Ichinose Tokiya (Uta no Prince Sama), Vocaloid character Kaito, Shiraishi Kuranosuke (Prince of Tennis), Kamui and Okita (Gintama) as well as Alto Saotome (Macross Frontier) has captured the hearts of thousands of fans worldwide. Touya also regularly participates as a staff Cosplayer for Miku Party (Mikupa), Comiket and many other game events in Japan. She will be making her first appearance in Singapore at STGCC.

Another famous Japanese cosplayer coming to Singapore for the first time is Kousaka Yun. She is best known for her depiction of sweet, innocent characters from popular anime and manga such as Kobato Hasegawa (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai), Kagura (Gintama), Madoka Kaname (Madoka Magica) and Yamada (Working!). Yun and Touya have also worked together to bring alive dreamy couples from popular anime series such as Gintama and Uta no Prince-sama.
