We are just a couple of days away from the very important date of 6 Jun 2012, where all AKB48 will be rooting and cheering on for their favorite idol members in the AKB48 4th Senbatsu Election.
For those that are unable to be in Japan to catch the live broadcast, AKB48 has tied up with Google+ to broadcast the live stream (http://www.akb48plus.com/), so fans all over the world can tune in together at the same time to witness the new face of AKB48, following the graduation of Maeda Atsuko.
Since this is such an important event, the broadcast will also be made in English, so international fans can fully understand what is happening. The event will start at 5.30pm (JST) and the winner will present her speech at 11pm.
I’m so impressed by the effort made by the AKB48 to engage fans all over the world. And its not surprising this is the winning formula that has led to the unbelievable sales of “Manatsu no Sounds Good!”.
