A new trailer has been streamed for the upcoming live-action movie adaptation of “Another (アナザー)”. The horror novel was first adapted into an anime series that was aired last season, and the live-action movie is due to premier in Japan on 4 Aug 2012.
The movie is being directed by Takeshi Furusawa and features Hashimoto Ai playing the role of Misaki Mei, the mysterious girl with the eye-patch. The story focuses on a boy named Koichi Sakakibara who, upon transferring into Yomomiya Middle School and meeting the curious Mei Misaki, finds himself in a mystery revolving around students and people related to his class facing gruesome, senseless deaths.
