Alafista.com Fifth Anniversary

Today is the fifth anniversary of alafista.com, and I’m so happy to have shared half a decade of news on Japan and its awesome Popular Culture with everyone. ( ^ _ ^) ∠☆PAN！

When I look at my dashboard, I realised that across the 1,826 days, I’ve written 6,870 posts! And thanks to all the wonderful support from everyone whom have also left 18,095 comments ｍ（．＿．）ｍアリガト

Looking back at where I started off my own site five years ago, the intention was simply to have a personal platform where I could share with everyone what I enjoy – all the different and fun aspects of the Japanese Pop Culture. I never knew it would allow me to meet so many like-minded friends, open up new doors in my professional career and earn me so many rewarding experiences.

There’s still a long way ahead of my life, and I would continue to improve and try to bring this site even further. Last year, I had a big opportunity to get one my dream jobs, but I turned it down due to other commitments. I continue to do what I enjoy and soon other opportunities still came knocking my way. In about 2-3 weeks time, I would be working on a really cool project, which I would share with everyone in due time. Hopefully by then, everyone would show the same support that they have shown this site.

Once again, I would like to borrow DannyChoo’s inspiring words to encourage everyone: “Identify and live your passion and the rest will justfollow – it always does.”

Apart from hearing your congratulations, this is also a good chance for me to hear some of your feedback and suggestions ^^
