Anime Festival Asia Malaysia

The organisers of the annual Anime Festival Asia have officially announced their satellite event “Anime Festival Asia Malaysia 2012“!!

This awesome event will be happening at the Putra World Trade Centre on 09 & 10 Jun 2012. Expect more exciting details on the ticketing and attending guests in the coming weeks.

Comrade Dannychoo has already confirmed his attendance for the event, and a “little bird” told me that there are going to be really awesome stars making their appearance!. So how many of you folks staying in Malaysia are excited about this exciting announcement? ^^

As for the folks in Singapore, there will still be the annual Anime Festival Asia scheduled in Nov 2012. Nonetheless I would really recommend you attending the one in Malaysia because its definitely gonna be worth the trip travelling up north.

      Hopefully AFA will be able to expand to other parts of Asia as well, so more otaku folks can enjoy all the fun and awesomeness ^^

    Well, Malaysia is muslim territory, so the cosplay will definitely suck. There won’t be any eroge or stuffs like that either.

    I think the whole event will be pretty much vanilla, but we’ll see.

      Malaysia has local anime/manga conventions as well. Checkout the Comic Fiesta, of course there’s other small conventions as well.
