Another (アナザー) the horror novel that has been adapted into the ongoing anime series has now been adapted into a live-action film. The movie is being directed by Takeshi Furusawa and will premier in Japan on 4 Aug 2012. The official website has started streaming the first teaser trailer for the show.

For those that have not caught the anime, the story revolves around a class of middle school students that have been cursed, and soon unavoidable deaths befall on the boys and girls. I’ve caught a couple of episodes after hearing reviews from my friends and while the death scenes are nicely detailed, I thought the storyline wasn’t that impressive.
