Last year, Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 (渡り廊下走り隊7), a sub-group of idol group AKB48 sang the new opening theme song for the Crayon Shin-chan anime series. Now they have another chance to work with the mischievous boy as they are transformed into anime characters modelled after themselves in two upcoming episodes of the anime series.
Six members of the group are involved, including Nakagawa Haruka , Kikuchi Ayaka, Oota Aika, Watanabe Mayu, Komori Mika, and Iwasa Misaki. Of course, they will be voicing their own characters in the show as well. In addition, it has been announced that Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 will also be singing the next theme song for Crayon Shin-chan 20th movie t hat is scheduled to premier in Japan on 14 Apr 2012.
