Aitakatta (会いたかった) is one the classic hits from popular Japanese idol group AKB48. Last weekend, their official “rival group” Nogizaka46 performed their own version of the song with a different take from the usual bubbly tune that fans are used to.
After listening to their version, I think they should rename the song to “会わなかった”. ^^”
I’m not that much into the Japanese idol group music industry but there are a lot of members in Nogizaka46.
