Today’s Japan Photo: Purification with Freezing Water

For Today’s Japan Photo, we will take a look at the annual cold-endurance ceremony that is held at Kanda Shrine in Tokyo, Japan.

This over over 40 people took part in the ceremony, which is believe that splashing freezing water during the winter season will bring you good fortune for the new year.
