AKB48 will be releasing their 24th single “Ue kara Mariko” (上からマリコ)” on 7 Dec 2011 and a short clip of the PV has been shown on a TV variety.
This single is special because it is the janken single and the title song is about member Shinoda Mariko. I think the upbeat tempo really fits her personality and the lyrics are very interesting because it talks about Mariko’s sadistic personality with a line in the chorus “Mariko from the top, she’s one sadistic fellow”.
The album covers has been unveiled and its really lovely as well. Gonna get myself a copy of the Team K version ^^
