Awesome Nissin CM Featuring Life-Sized Gundam Statue

This has gotta be one of the most awesome instant noodle commercial ever created by Nissin. It features the life-size Gundam statue standing up from a kneeling position and holding a kettle of boiling hot water (just what is needed to make a yummy cup noodle).

What I probably don’t get is that tagline “Boil Japan” which somehow seems like Gundam is going out to boil Japan instead. I definitely wouldn’t want to be caught in the scalding hot water from the kettle. XD

    Nice! It looks like its really moving. Maybe it’ll inspire a new generation of roboticists to create something like that

      im pretty sure everyone assumes japan has one of these guys hiding in a bunker haha
      wouldnt be surprised if they have something very down graded ready to roll out

    I do believe the phrase “Boil Japan” is being used as a command to tell japan to boil their kettles and eat some nissin cup.

    or the phrase “boil Japan” is refering to the nissin cup craze boiling in japan. or growing

      Maybe the latter is now suitable. But I just can’t help thinking that its to command the Gundam to literally boil Japan XD
