Photography is my passion and its my pleasure to be working with Canon as Style Council member for their NEW IXUS EXPERIENCE. This is a new collaboration with Canon, where I will be sharing about fun and unique new experiences on the site, and capturing all those moments with an IXUS digital camera.
Canon has always been my top choice when it comes to camera equipment, and I had shot many of my photography projects (e.g. Nendoroid Travelogue) with my trusty Canon 5D Mark II DSLR. However, for this project, I was given the Digital IXUS 220 HS to capture my experiences. Initially, I felt uncomfortable without the full range of manual controls at my hands, but the ease of controls and creative filters soon got me hooked onto using the digital compact.
STYLE COUNCIL: fearless individuals who put themselves on the line to infiltrate the hottest happenings in town, armed with nothing but an IXUS, sharp wit and a keen eye for the latest trends.
Those who head over to the Style Council page will see many familiar faces of the meidos and butkers from the Moe Moe Kyun ♥ and Atelier Royale Café during last year’s AFAX. At first glance, I do confess that I might not be the best fit for the word “stylish”, but I’m pretty confident that those new experiences covered by myself would be pretty awesome to my fellow otaku comrades and those who appreciate the Japanese popular culture.
