The Regional Cosplay Championship at Anime Festival Asia 2010 (AFAX) was contested by five finalist teams, in order of sequence: Malaysia (Fairy Tail), Singapore (Defence Devil), Philippines (Xenosaga), Thailand (Monster Hunter), and Indonesia (Garo). The main sponsor for this contest was sponsored by Canon, and it just so happens that the following shots were shot on my trusty Canon 5D Mk II as well ^^
In the end, Team Thailand entertaining skit from Monster Hunter allowed them to wow the crowd and judges and they emerged as overall winners!
The runner-ups were Team Indonesia and Team Singapore:
The judges for the regional cosplay competition were renowned cosplayers Kaname, Aira, Clive and Alodia, and Canon’s representative Ms Carol.

Hope everyone who were present had a great time. I really enjoyed myself during the competition even though I was busy snapping away. I was particularly impressed by both Team Indonesia and Thailand for their awesome costumes.
