For Today’s Japan Photo, we will be taking a look at some very interesting water transportation in Japan.

These interesting duck-shaped pedal boats can be found in some of the lakes (e.g. Lake Ashi) and waterways in Japan. So you will be able to rent one and pedal your way around the lake while you enjoy the scenery around you. I’m not too sure why the Japanese introduced such boats, but I’m guessing they are trying to make the boats blend in with nature XD
